Progression- Bathhouse

This is a design project titled Hiker's Retreat. I was tasked with designing a modern day bathhouse and dock that was placed on the sloped hillside of a fictional lake. The site included a tree filled landscape, that featured a hiking path and a lake. My project focused on the idea of continuous progression that was guided by the shadows of light that were cast throughout my building. My design aimed to focus on incorporating the scenic landscape while shaping the experience of my users by utilizing daylight, structure, and aesthetic design. My project also featured a garden rooftop on both the bathhouse and dock.
